Uzum prepares second bond issuance of UZS 400 billion

Uzum has announced the preparation of its second bond issuance, with a total volume of UZS 400 billion. The offering is significantly larger than the company's debut issuance.

The coupon rate is set at 24% with a two-year maturity. The par value of each bond is UZS 100 million, which makes the instrument available to private investors as well as large institutional ones. The placement takes place on the Republican Stock Exchange "Toshkent".

According to Nikita Gulyaev, Chief Financial Officer of Uzum, the first issuance confirmed investor interest and the market's readiness for new financial instruments, and the company sees steady demand from both institutional and private investors.

Uzum is Uzbekistan's digital ecosystem combining fintech, e-commerce and banking services. Its services include a marketplace, express delivery, traditional and digital banking, a BNPL service, a car marketplace and an app for entrepreneurs, used by 20 million people every month.
