UzOman is a Tashkent-based private equity investor established as a joint venture of the Oman Investment Authority and Uzbekistan’s Fund for Reconstruction and Development. It invests across sectors in Uzbekistan and has backed technology-enabled financial services, including an investment in ZOOD’s Uzbekistan operations announced in June 2023. The company is 75% owned by the Omani partner and 25% by the Uzbek partner.
