Steppe Venture Builders is a venture studio founded in Tashkent that co-builds MVPs and full software products together with founders, taking cash plus equity. It works across five markets, the USA, Qatar, Morocco, Uzbekistan and the wider Central Asia, in four languages. Engagement models range from $5,000 in cash plus equity through to cash-only MVP builds from $30,000, embedded engineering squads under a venture staffing model, advisory retainers paid in cash or equity, and multi-quarter platform builds where the client keeps full IP and code ownership. Alongside product work it offers venture advisory and scaling support, from fundraising strategy to organisational scaling. The studio is led by founder and CEO Shakhbozbek Usmonov, with Mukhammad Khalil, founder of Startup Garage, as co-founder and adviser. The team of around nine covers engineering, product, design, AI and marketing. Portfolio work spans SaaS, fintech, edtech and AI, including the Mohirlar career and resume platform.
