Newnorm

About

Newnorm develops modular personal audio hardware for people who use separate devices for listening, calls and recording. Its One-A system combines earbuds with detachable microphone accessories and a portable case designed to function as a speakerphone, recorder and smart-audio device. Replaceable batteries allow users to swap power modules instead of waiting for the earbuds or case to recharge. The product is designed around repairability and component upgrades. Users can replace parts with standard tools, adjust sound through an equaliser and use custom-fit ear tips based on an audiologist’s ear scan. Newnorm positions the system as a longer-lived alternative to frequently replacing entire audio devices, with custom parts and final assembly based in the United Kingdom.
