byb capital (build your business) is a venture fund registered in the AIFC and based in Almaty, founded in 2024 by entrepreneurs Kenes Rakishev and Asel Tasmagambetova. It grew out of their Build Your Business competition run through the Sabi foundation and invests in early-stage B2B software and tech-enabled traditional businesses in Kazakhstan, Central Asia, the Caucasus and the US, with average cheques of 100,000 to 200,000 US dollars.
