Yoshlar Ventures issues soft commitments to CoreAl, Voicelab and Bonu at Startupfest Catalyst

Yoshlar Ventures has issued soft commitments to three startups at Startupfest Catalyst, an event run together with Yandex Uzbekistan. The three winners pitched their projects to investors before receiving the commitment from the fund. The startups are CoreAl, Voicelab and Bonu.

The amounts differ. CoreAl received $100,000, the largest of the three. Voicelab received $80,000 and Bonu received $40,000.

A soft commit signals that the fund intends to invest in a startup, but it is not a closed deal. It is a signal of intent rather than a final investment agreement. Yoshlar Ventures has not announced other terms or the timing of any closed rounds.

The event was Startupfest Catalyst, run together with Yandex Uzbekistan. CoreAl, Voicelab and Bonu are the three projects that came out of it with a soft commitment from the fund. The fund's decision followed their pitches to investors.
