We Fund Ventures launches $10M fund for early-stage startups in Central Asia

We Fund Ventures has launched, a new venture fund targeting early-stage startups in Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia. The fund was established with participation from the Public Foundation "We Fund" and entrepreneur Timur Tilenov.
The fund aims to raise $10 million. It plans to invest in 10-15 companies during 2026-2027, with check sizes ranging from $25,000 to $75,000 per deal, focusing on pre-seed and seed rounds. After this initial phase, the fund will expand its activities over the following five years. The primary focus areas are artificial intelligence and creative industries.
We Fund Ventures will not only provide capital. Portfolio companies will receive access to a network of mentors and founders who have experience in international markets, support in preparing for later funding rounds, and help structuring the company for foreign investors.
The first public event will be the Build Global hackathon in Osh, scheduled for October 9-11, 2026. Participants will work on products with global potential. The fund's team will be present throughout the hackathon as potential first investors.
