Uzbekistan sets goal to raise GDP to $300 billion by 2030

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has presented seven national development programs for Uzbekistan. One of the programs sets a target to increase the country's gross domestic product to $300 billion by 2030.
The new economic plan includes attracting $450 billion in foreign investments and creating 2 million jobs in high-paying sectors over the next decade. These measures are part of the country's strategy to modernize its economy and boost growth.
The programs are designed to accelerate economic development and improve living standards across Uzbekistan. They cover key areas such as infrastructure, industry, and digital transformation.
The government aims to implement these initiatives over the next ten years, with a focus on sustainable growth and international cooperation.
