OSNOVA AI raises $124K from UC Ventures at a $3M valuation to expand its AI training platform

Osnova AI raised $124,000 from UC Ventures at a $3 million valuation. It is a follow-on check: a year earlier UC Ventures put $100,000 into the company at a $2 million valuation, so the new round roughly doubles the valuation. UC Ventures said it decided to invest again after working with the team during the first stage of the project.

Osnova AI builds a platform for employee training and assessment. Part of the work normally done by HR specialists and instructional designers is handled by AI, the company says. Its clients include SQB, Ipotekabank OTP Group, UNG Academy and B&B.

The new money goes into developing the platform and its AI features. Over the next six months Osnova plans to add nine modules that cover the path of an employee from the first day on the job to a promotion. In September it will launch an AI simulator: an employee talks to a virtual client by voice or text, then gets a breakdown of mistakes. Later features include competency assessment, personal development plans and a knowledge base with semantic search.

By February 2027 the company plans to launch a talent pool tool with an internal hiring agent. A manager can ask who could run a branch in three months, and the system shows suitable employees and what each of them is missing. Co-founder and CPTO Anton Chekhov said that an AI course builder already runs at clients, and the next step is agents that take over the whole onboarding and assessment process.
