Listee Summarizes the Results of 80 Days of Testing Its Advertising Platform in Uzbekistan

Listee, an international technology company, has released its initial findings from testing a peer-to-peer trading platform in Uzbekistan. The test lasted 80 days. During that time, each seller posted two or more listings on the platform, and the most active buyer sent more than 60 messages. The company announced the results on October 9, 2026.
The Listee app combines search functionality, a secure chat between buyers and sellers, secure payment, delivery to pickup points, ratings and reviews, as well as AI services. Users’ real phone numbers are not displayed during communication; calls are handled within the platform. Ratings take into account reviews, transaction speed, history, the quality of listing descriptions, and behavior on the platform.
The top search queries among iPhone users include scooters, phones, refrigerators, and bicycles. The first listing on Listee was a convertible crib; an eco-friendly electric scooter was the most frequently added item to favorites; and the first transaction with delivery involved microphone clips. Most sellers are based in Tashkent.
Market research conducted by the Listee team revealed the structure of the resale market: 46% of sellers trade in clothing, shoes, and bags; 28% in cosmetics and accessories; and 22% each in electronics and home goods. Electronics lead in total revenue, followed by clothing and home appliances. The 25–34 age group is more engaged: 80% have experience buying personal items from private sellers, whereas 38% of the 45–60 age group have no such experience.
“The first 80 days have shown that there is interest in reselling in Uzbekistan: users are listing items and making their first transactions through the platform. We continue to develop Listee together with the local team,” said Listee founder and CEO Vitaly Tumanov. To operate in the country, the company opened an office in Tashkent; Zafar Iskhakov, Country Manager for Uzbekistan, is responsible for the company’s development in the region.
Testing in Uzbekistan is ongoing: the team is gathering feedback and using it to improve the product and services. The next step is testing in other emerging markets: Central Asia, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
