FAIO 2026 closes registration on September 19 for international school AI olympiad

FAIO 2026 will close registration on September 19, 2026. The international team-based AI olympiad is open to school students, and the selection round takes place the next day, September 20, 2026.

Teams represent their country and solve challenges in AI, machine learning, programming and mathematics. The format is team-based, so students work together rather than compete alone.

The organizing committee asks students to invite friends, classmates, teachers and teams from other countries. The goal is to bring more countries and teams into the olympiad and grow its international community.

Students who want to take part can register at https://faio.kz before the September 19 deadline.
