DOMiNO Ventures and UzVC launch SGP Life Sciences accelerator for Central Asian startups

DOMiNO Ventures and UzVC have launched a new acceleration program for life sciences startups in Central Asia. The program, called SGP Life Sciences, is open to companies in biotech, healthcare and pharma tech.

The two-month program will bring together selected startups with international mentors, industry experts and investors. It aims to help founders prepare for fundraising, build investor readiness and expand to global markets. The program combines practical support with access to international networks and capital.

The accelerator starts in October 2026 and will end with a two-day offline bootcamp in Uzbekistan followed by a Demo Day. At the Demo Day, startups will present their projects to global venture funds and corporations. Applications are open until September 18, 2026, inclusive. You can apply at https://forms.gle/gybakb3SwSsdvM549

The initiative is led by DOMiNO Ventures and UzVC. Dilshod Khashimov, CEO of UzVC, noted that reforms in science and healthcare in Uzbekistan create a foundation for life sciences growth. Yagiz Karadeniz, Managing Partner at DOMiNO Ventures, said there is a growing number of founders in Central Asia with potential to build globally competitive companies.
