Startup Roast will hold a public review of founders' pitches to investors in Tashkent

Startup Roast will take place in Tashkent on November 21. The event will begin at 3:00 p.m. and end at 6:00 p.m.; the exact address will be announced later. The format is as follows: founders pitch their projects to a panel of investors.

Investors openly analyze the business model, market, metrics, team, and real barriers to growth. The review takes place publicly, without the usual “you’re doing great, but…” platitudes: typically, a rejection is phrased politely and comes too late; here, it’s stated out loud.

For the audience, this is an opportunity to see investors’ reasoning in action: how they think, what they focus on, and why they say “no.” You can watch from anywhere in the room; audience participation does not require a pitch.
