Regent Protocol
CompanyRegent Protocol is building identity and audit infrastructure for AI agents in regulated financial environments.
About
Problem: AI agents are moving into financial workflows without a reliable accountability layer As AI systems move closer to execution in finance, institutions face three unresolved questions: 1. Which AI agent is acting? 2. Who is accountable for that agent? 3. What trusted record exists of the agent’s actions? Today, most environments do not provide a strong identity and audit foundation for AI agents operating in regulated workflows. Core Friction: - fragmented identity - weak attribution - inconsistent auditability - unclear responsibility across systems Solution: Regent is being built to provide the minimum trust layer needed to answer: - which agent acted; - under whose authority; - with what traceable execution history. Regent establishes the first layer institutions need before broader agent compliance becomes possible Functional outcome: - machine-verifiable agent identity - attribution to accountable human / institution - traceable action history - foundation for future compliance and monitoring layers
