UzVC and Techstars launch accelerator program for startups in Uzbekistan
UzVC and Techstars are launching a national program to support startups in Uzbekistan. The agreement aims to develop the local startup ecosystem and increase the number of investment-ready projects.
Participants will have access to international approaches, mentoring support and Techstars' global network. The program will cover events and initiatives in different cities of Uzbekistan. The program will include 15 offline events, participation of about 20 startups in pre-accelerator programs and more than 200 mentors.
Hackonnect, which previously organized Techstars events in the country, is responsible for the program.
The partnership is open to investors, universities, corporations and organizations interested in the development of technological entrepreneurship in the region.
