Uzbekistan will exempt foreigners from taxes upon payment of a fee of 50 thousand dollars
A special tax regime for foreign citizens will come into effect in Uzbekistan on January 1, 2026. It provides exemption from tax on personal income received from abroad.
Participation in the regime will require paying a one-time fee of $50,000, as well as opening an account in an authorized commercial bank or a wallet on a licensed cryptocurrency exchange.
The procedure for recognition as a tax resident of Uzbekistan is also simplified. This status will be available to those who own or rent a home in the country and stay in the country for at least 30 days during the year.
