Uzbekistan Launches Enterprise Uzbekistan as New Global Tech Hub
Uzbekistan has introduced the Presidential Decree PF-233, marking the creation of Enterprise Uzbekistan, an International Center for Digital Technologies. The initiative positions the country as a new force on the global technology landscape and opens a structured pathway for large-scale innovation growth.
The Center is designed to support the development and export of advanced technologies while helping local startups and IT companies enter global markets. It also establishes a favorable legal and operational environment for innovative businesses and creates opportunities for international technology corporations to operate in Uzbekistan.
A special legal regime provides residents with tax incentives, export support mechanisms, simplified administrative procedures and protection of intellectual property. The framework introduces a single service window and aligns governance with international standards.
The governing board includes top state leaders, highlighting the strategic priority of the project. The Center’s territory in Tashkent has been precisely defined, confirming its role as a real and dedicated technology zone.
The decree forms the foundation for a large-scale international technopark comparable to global innovation districts such as Dubai Internet City, Riyadh Digital City, Bangalore Tech Park and Astana Hub. The new ecosystem aims to attract investors, foster startup creation, strengthen digital exports and shape the future economy of Uzbekistan.
