TBC Bank ranks among top three most recognized banks in Uzbekistan

TBC Bank has entered the top three most recognizable banks in Uzbekistan, according to the first wave of the Brand Health Tracking report conducted by Research Group Central Asia (RGCA). The study assessed public perception of major banks and payment services nationwide.
Among 15 leading banks, TBC Bank secured third place in overall brand awareness, showing growth across both spontaneous and prompted recognition. In Tashkent, the bank achieved the highest recognition level among all competitors. The report also highlights an increase in TBC Bank’s customer base, with more respondents confirming active use of its services in the past three months.
Respondents describe TBC Bank as reliable and convenient, noting improvements in its mobile app and customer service quality. Eleven percent of respondents named the bank without prompting, while 29 percent recognized it upon mention, indicating rising engagement with the brand.
The RGCA study involved around 2,000 participants aged 18–65 across urban and rural areas. It measured four key indicators: brand awareness, usage, consideration, and customer satisfaction (CSI and NPS).
In the fintech segment, payme and Click remain Uzbekistan’s most recognized payment platforms. Payme leads in spontaneous awareness in Tashkent at 19 percent, with overall brand recognition exceeding 70 percent. Its popularity remains strongest among urban users and women with middle incomes.
According to RGCA CEO Vyacheslav Karpov, digital banking is becoming part of everyday life in Uzbekistan, with competition shifting from pricing toward user experience and technology.
