Tajikistan Launches Area AI 1.0 Hub to Export Artificial Intelligence Solutions
The Area AI Consortium has officially launched Area AI 1.0 in Dushanbe, marking the start of its operational activities and the formation of a new artificial intelligence ecosystem in Tajikistan. The hub operates as a project office for consortium members, focusing on the development and international export of AI products and services with Dushanbe as its core base.
Area AI 1.0 is positioned as a foundational stage for the future Area AI 2.0 initiative, a full scale AI campus scheduled to launch in 2027. The next phase is designed to cover the entire artificial intelligence value chain, including talent development, advanced research, applied innovation and environmentally sustainable computing infrastructure.
The initiative is led by the Area AI Consortium, which brings together 16 international AI companies and investors under the management of zypl.ai. Members include global technology leaders such as Perplexity, Cerebras, Yotta and Supermicro, along with companies from the A7Sigma ecosystem. During the opening ceremony, flagship projects were presented, including AI GOV for public services, AI Oxus for green AI computing and Project Soro, a national AI education program, alongside the announcement of new international partnership agreements.
