Kazakhstani startup Higgsfield has turned down Meta's bid to buy it. Acquisition talks have been halted.

Higgsfield develops AI-based image and video generation tools aimed at content creators and the mass market.

Meta was also in talks with other AI video startups, including Pika, to integrate similar technologies into Instagram and Facebook.
